I am a sojourner.
I live here as a stranger, a foreigner, an alien, a temporary resident on the earth. I’m merely an immigrant in the land, only a stranger in these parts and here for just a little while.
Strange words? Interesting thought? A little on the crazy side?
It does seem that way, doesn’t it?
But Scripture tells us that is what we are.
Sojourners
Strangers
Foreigners
Aliens
Temporary Residents
Immigrants
Here for just a little while
Not of this world
Rather, as Believers, we are citizens of another place. Members of a different family. Living, not consumed with this world (the Olam Ha Za) but in the awareness of the Age to Come (the Olam Ha Ba).
So, I invite you to join me on this journey, to seek the One who is our guide, and experience life to the fullest.
